This award recognizes a newspaper or radio/TV station which has recently demonstrated support or promotion of literacy.

Criteria

Nominees will be judged by evidence found within the application on the following categories:

  • Reporting, interviews and/or editorials on reading and/or literacy in the schools and community;
     

  • Public service project(s) which inform and promote reading and/or literacy;
     

  • Reporting on research, educational practices and reading activities.
